After After School

So I worked in an after school setting for 20 years. One day this kid was having a very bad day. He basically had a meltdown that required several hands on deck.

He ran around screaming "This club is a MFer!" He was about 12.

Now he is 30 and even though a number of staff has moved on (including me, I retired in 2018) his "motto" became a part of the organization's history. Now when the tenured staff are having a hard day they say ‘the club is a MFer!’ How do I know? The new CEO texted me that very phrase!

It's more of a war cry now. It makes you laugh and the stress is a little bit less.
